A Brand Refresh Three Years in the Making

We are constantly consulting brands on their visual representation, positioning, and messaging, but rarely do we have time to focus on our own brand. Now, three years into running Birdie, we are thrilled to unveil our new brand design that represents all that we’ve been working towards during this time — a reflection of how far we’ve come and where we’re headed as a full-service PR and marketing agency.

Honoring Our Roots

When we first launched three years ago as Birdie Public Relations, our focus was clear: to provide premiere PR services that helped brands tell their stories and land top national press. Over time, our offerings and expertise have grown, and so has our identity. We wanted our new brand to capture the essence of who we are today while honoring the elements that have made us who we are. None of this would have been possible without the incredible collaboration with Nolan from Studio Tarea. Nolan has been by our side for nearly two years, helping us refine and perfect our brand to where it stands today. His expertise and dedication have been instrumental in bringing our vision to life.

Why the Change?

The shift from Birdie Public Relations to The Birdie Agency marks our evolution from a PR-only firm to a comprehensive agency that offers a full suite of PR and marketing services. Our new name embodies the breadth of our capabilities and the holistic approach we take to brand building.

The Psychology Behind Our Colors

Color has a powerful impact on perception, and we wanted our new brand to resonate deeply with both our existing clients and those we hope to serve in the future.

  • Orange: This vibrant hue represents warmth and creativity, two qualities that define who we are. Our clients often describe us as warm, and we love that. We believe in connecting with founders and brand leaders on a human level, fostering relationships that lead to impactful change.

  • Blue: Blue is a color universally associated with trust. It’s also a favorite for many people, and we want our clients to know they can rely on us to guide them through brand growth with confidence. Trust is the foundation of everything we do, and our new brand reflects that commitment.

  • Yves Klein Blue: For a pop of energy, we incorporated Yves Klein blue. This bold shade symbolizes the buzz and excitement we strive to create for our clients. It’s a reminder that while we are warm and trustworthy, we are also dynamic and innovative in our approach.

A Custom Touch: Marbleized Pattern by Kim Padula

To add a unique and personal touch to our branding, we collaborated with Kim Padula of No One Alike to create a custom marbleized pattern. This beautiful design will be used throughout our branding, and we envision it one day becoming wallpaper, tissue paper for client gifts, and more. It’s a visual representation of the creativity and attention to detail that goes into every project we take on.

The Importance of Photography

When working with any brand, photography is one of the most important elements in storytelling. As they say… a picture is worth a thousand words. We knew when taking photos for the site we needed to work with someone who knew how to tell stories through photos, and there is no one better at that than Sarah Cramer Shields. She came to our shoot with three cameras — including film cameras, because she knew we wanted our photos to feel editorial and nostalgic. She was an absolute joy to work with an so carefully captured all that we were looking for.

Looking Ahead

As The Birdie Agency, we’re excited to continue building strong, impactful brands with our expanded services. Our new look is just the beginning of this next chapter, and we’re thrilled to have you with us on this journey.

Thank you for your continued trust and support. We can’t wait to see what the future holds!
